Artist's Comments

This is far from being a true dream catcher (if you didn't know it already!). But these nets can inspire and give someone something to look at what wonders nature can offer us. Or it can give others shivers and nightmares!
_________
A dream catcher is known as American indian artifact that was supposed to hold everything bad that came into contact with it. It was hung above a childs cradle.
The artifact is originated by Ojibwe (Chippewa) people - NOT DAKOTAs!
Asubakacin - Ojibwe-White Earth Band - meaning "net-like, looks like a net"
Bwaajige Ngwaagan - Ojibwe-Curve Lake Band - meaning "dream snare"

For more information to those who care to find out how it should look like in reality, how it should be used and how it came to be (by legend): [link]
